It really has been an unremarkable week, nothing really notable happened and I have nothing terribly interesting to say or talk about. We took the car in for some repairs, played video games, watched TV shows, had some take out food…
The car needed a few hundred dollars in repairs, it's old and it was cheep so that was expected. Now that we'll have our own car life should be more interesting? Yes, it should be.
I played a lot of Warcraft this week, I couldn't help myself. I leveled up a Worgen Death Knight last week, went tank, joined a fun social guild with him and it got my mind off my troubles while I indulged myself. Although selfish, some times necessary – yes a spa day would have been nice too but then I would not have seen the new (new to me) end game content. I'll do my own nails!
I finally watched Game of Thrones, both seasons back to back. If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you got all the episodes and plenty of time to watch them before you start! If you don't like shows about sex, violence, deception, manipulation and fantasy set in midlevel times then you'll hate this show. I on the other hand, loved it! I have now joined the multitude of fans who can hardly wait for the next season.
I also watched United States of Tara. There is only 3 seasons of this show and I've yet to watch the last 5 episodes of season 3 so I don't know how it ends but it is an easy watch and I really enjoyed it. This is very much an adult show! It is funny, disturbing, sad and silly, just the way a show should be. Toni Collette is brilliant in this, I suppose the role is an actors dream and she definitely pulls it off.
We tried the Ambrosia Cafe which serves Greek and American food. My husband likened it to a Kebab shop in England, I admit it was similar. We shared an appetizer sampler plate and it was nice, not remarkable but nice. I had a chicken shish and my husband had a gyro. Both were good and we'd definitely order from this place again.
We also tried China Ginger which with both agreed was terrible and we'd never have it again – This is my Yelp review, I'm not going to write another here because I don't want to think about it.
And that was my week, hope yours was better!
